    Tern I.D. Please

    Attached is a couple of terns, taken at South Shields beach yesterday. I think one of the juvinile birds is Arctic, but one has different coloured legs. The adult in flight has white forehead.

    Lockwood Beck Birds

    A few shots of the Osprey's at Lockwood beck, yesterday. 2 present while we were there. Other birds included flock of white fronted geese over, distant marsh harrier, grey heron, grey and pied wagtail, mallards, greylags etc.

    I.D. Please

    Taken yesterday in a woodland area near Muggleswick. I think the second Image might be a willow warbler, but It looks strange, maybe due to the pose It's perched in !. No Idea about the first Image and that's the only shot I managed. Thanks in advance :t:.

    Sandpiper Query

    Managed to photograph this sandpiper yesterday, which I thought was just a green. Having posted a photo on my local forum, a discussion has started as to whether or not It is a Solitary Sandpiper (Tringa solitaria). I'd appreciate It If someone to confirm this either way if possible. Regards.

    LBB or YL Gulls at Washington WWT U.K

    2 gulls attached, are they LBB, YL, or maybe even 0ne of each. Image 0ne and two are 2 seperate gulls, there was only two present, they flew off then one returned on two occassions, so not sure if image 3 and 4 are of the same gull. Cheers.
