    It was certainly there last Thursday (3rd) but was distant at the back of the site eating a Coal Tit I think, so kept mostly low whilst I was there and not easy to pick up..

    Forge Valley is spot on as they constantly come to bird tables around the Birdwatcher's Car Park giving great photo opportunities....from the comfort of your car! :t:

    I am paying a visit to the county in mid-September for a family holiday but no doubt some birding will be included when time permits. I am hoping to visit Minsmere but Dunwich in particular to look for Dartfords, can anyone give me any tips on where and when is best to look?:hi:

    swallowtails in norfolk

    Went to How Hill yesterday, saw several, at least 3 possibly 5, within 10 minutes of getting there on the first meadow thtough the gate from Toad Cottage. Brilliant views, lovely day and place. High recommended for Swallowtails!
