    Health Advice for visiting Pantenal

Hi All, Both my wife and I are really wanting to go visit the Pantenal region of Brazil but I have a problem and that is relating to the risk of Yellow fever in that region. As I understand it Yellow Fever does exist there and is pretty much incurable. So I look up the prospect of taking the...

    Panasonic TZ60

I am considering getting the above as a replacement for a failed Fujifilm compact camera. I cannot find another thread reviewing this camera so if there is anyone out there using one I'd like to know their thoughts on it (or does the lack of comments on BF speak for itself). thanks

    Guernsey in October

We are making a trip to Guernsey in October. After making the booking it occurred to me that perhaps it has similar possibilities as Scillies. Is there likely to be good bird migration opportunities and is there anything I should be looking out for that I am unlikely to see at home in Surrey?

    Wild Colombia with Nigel Marven

Just finished viewing this series of 4 programmes on the Eden channel. Brilliant coverage of wildlife in that country although he does ham it up a bit but it has particularly good filming of just about every form of life, including humans, in a way that makes me think he will be vying to take...

    ID duck in Reading UK

I work just outside Reading, Berks. UK It is cloudy, damp with a strong SW wind. panasonic HDC-HS300 hd cam corder

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a Panasonic HDC HS300. The official reviews seem to be well in favour. Are there any BF members using this piece of equipment and offer comments on how good / bad it is in normal circumstances and for wildlife filming. What extra's might be needed? Thanks

    Gropper in Surrey?

Last Friday I made the unforgiveable mistake of walking through my local patch at Riddlesdown (NE Surrey) without the bins. (Well I was walking home from the train at the bottom of the hill). Up at the top of the hill where the land is totally flat and just about to pass by the old tree that...

    Waves in the Sky

Just had to talk to someone about this. I work in Tolworth, Surrey (UK) and generally park up about half a mile from there. This enables me to walk away from the main road for about 500 metres. On most days it is great and at the moment I start walking about 40 minutes from sunrise. Today...

    Angers, France
