Zeiss Victory 8x42 SF 524223 REVIEWS?

I'm not getting any younger but, to my eyes the sf isn't quite as sharp and as vivlid As the Swarovski . Not that it's bad just different. More laid back, to each their own!

Biggest WOW binoculars you have ever looked through?

My Swarovision' s hands down offer the best view that I have come across. Trust me I have handled all the newer glass lately from Z,L, and S. My opinion, Swarovski is the sharpest and has the best color rendering. Bryce...

    Brunton aluminum & carbon closeout

Jerry, I have several different tripod and head combinations. The Brunton plate you show is identical to Promaster and other generic models. They will fit on Bogen Manfrotto heads just don't work as well. Bryce...

    10x50 EL or 10x54 HT

Not wanting to get into a pissing match but, where do you find all this CA in the 10x50 sv? Curious because I use the 10x50 and 8x32 sv's daily. I don't find CA in either bin a problem especially the 10x50. Bryce...

    New bin, EL10x50SV

I have read that. Personally I only use the 10x50 tripod mounted. The reason for asking was you made it sound like a direct user statement. I would venture to say the sv tripod mounted will out resolve the se as well. I know between my se and sv in 8x32, the sv edges out the se in its...

    DCF ED vs. Alpha's?

Patric, I have not compared them first hand really never crossed my mind. The only reason for the purchase of the Pentax ED was I had one previously, liked it alot and saw a good deal on one. Probably won't see alot of use by me but, nice to have a backup and let others use as a decent...

    What is your favorite 10x?

I'll admit I'm not a 10x fan. That said glassing long distance and open spaces the 10x50 tripod mounted is, well You'll just have to see first hand JG! Keep your euro for carrying around. I really thought I needed a top notch 15x for tripod use, using the 10x50 has changed my mind. Bryce...

    What is your favorite 10x?

Yep, originally bought the 10x50 sv returned it and got the 8x32 for an all around glass! I love the little sv but for me the 10x50 has every thing I look for in quality of view. So I bit the bullet and bought another 10x50 to go along with the 8x32. Needless to say at my age I'm done...
