    Tree sparrows fledged

    The first young Tree sparrows of the year appeared on Monday. Photo is the best one of some poor efforts taken through the kitchen window. I'll try to clean the windows soon it should improve things a little.;) Lewis

    Great tits survive storm damage

    High winds at the weekend brought down a large branch on the willow at the end of our garden. Just below where the branch left the tree is a nest box containing great tits. Checked the box and luckily its unharmed and I've seen the adults continuing to feed the young. Also forunate that the...
