    After the success of my previous request I thought I would try with another bird. At the time I photographed this I was thinking Chiffchaff, but I'm not so sure now.     Thanks for the answers. I've got to admit I'm very surprised at juvenile Green Woodpecker. I've been sat looking at my image and comparing it to others I can find as well as reference books, and to be honest I don't see it. The bill looks completely wrong as do markings, size and overall shape...

    Took this a couple of days ago at the same time as trying to photograph a warbler sp. This bird appeared briefly and then disappeared. I thought at the time it was a juvenile blackbird but having just downloaded the image onto my laptop I'm pretty sure it isn't one. Any ideas?

    I've just started a course and could do with buying a wild flower guide. We've used the Francis Rose book but I have also come across the Poland/Clement book.     This is probably a daft question but is this a Common or Grey Seal. The photo was taken on 15/2/12 at Saltfleet Haven. I thought it was a Common then decided it was a Grey and now have no idea. Thought my bird id was bad...!! Cheers.

    That seems to be what it is. iI just stood out so much in the tree, never seen one quite like that, it looked almost orange to start with. Cheers
