    Dark Kumlien's Gull?

Hi there, Is this a dark Kumlien's Gull or something else? Generally the plumage seemed to fit KG but the bird was big, chunky and had a rather heavy bill - not the normal impression you get with Kumlien's or Iceland Gull. This was in Guernsey, Channel Islands today. Thanks

    Birding World DVD

What is the current thinking on purchasing the complete set of Birding World journals on DVD? I have an incomplete set of Birding World taking up space in my house. Would I be better to bin them and buy the DVD for £80? Or do the hard copies still have a value? Thanks.

    Crossbill species

    Wheatear in Lesbos

About a decade ago, we found a pair of Wheatears seemingly breeding on the top of Mount Olympus in Lesbos. I thought I had settled the species but still have my doubts. A poor photo in poor light is attached. Your help is appreciated!

    Buzzard ID

Although it's a tricky one on plumage, the structure of this bird would strongly suggest Honey Buzzard. Any thoughts y'all?

    Auk ID

Evening all, I attach a poor record shot of an auk we have been debating (arguing) over here is Guernsey. We have two camps - the Little Auk team and the first-winter Razorbill team. Which team do you support? Cheers Jay
