    Birds and poetry

Thanks for that index from another occasional visitor, when my computer crashed I lost my copy of my all time favourite poem, now I have it back. OLD JOHNNY ARMSTRONG Old Johnny Armstrong’s eighty or more And he humps like a question–mark Over two gnarled sticks as he shuffles and picks His...

Am I the only person here that likes Pigeons?

Nothing wrong with pigeons, they are only guilty of being successful, people would have the same attitude to firecrests if there were millions of them. Mick

How can I downsize RAW files to email them??

    Bill Oddie - better solo!

I couldn't agree more, Bill on his own, out birding took a lot of beating, I don't think it has. He could still do S/A watch but as a roving reporter perhaps, or better still get him to do the bits Simon King does and put Simon in the studio with Kate. Mick

    The promised Kestral picture.

You can get lucky, I happened upon this one a few weeks ago on the path along the cliffs near me, actually happened isn't strictly honest, my GF saw it land so we went to see what it was. It was amazing the people out for a stroll who were completely oblivious to it. Mick

    IE warning

Ha ha, not on Linux your not but thanks for putting the warning up, I should have. I've been using Firefox for years like Keith, first on windows and then on Linux, I first installed it for the extra features, not for security that was for AVG and Zonealarm to look after. The features I liked...

    IE warning

That's odd because the Beeb plays fine for me, streaming and listen again. It's worth getting the agent switcher addon, that helps with some sites. Mick
