    Sunbird White-bellied (F)

    Saw a White-bellied Sunbird today. She was sitting high in a tree in the garden and kept flying up to catch insects flying past. I think i got a glimps of the male yesterday. Just saw a blur of colour but now i know what i'm looking 4.|:d| This is my number 41.

    Really strange hawk - SE Brazil

    Hi Can it not be a Long-crested Eagle? Looks like white "windows" on the wing tips. The yellow under the body must be the legs and the yellow that looks like it's on the side of the head must be it's beak as it's looking down. Not sure if they appear in SE Brazil? Regards Amelia

    Hi Chris. The foto does not do the colour of the feathers justice and a few months earlier the orange under the tail feathers was much brighter.

    Can someone please help to identify this bird. I'm not sure it's a local as I found her eating grass seeds and fruit in the garden and it seemed to be half tame.
