    Clarification of Woodpecker UK

    I need Clarification that this is a Greater spotted juvenile woodpecker. All the juvenile I normally see have the same markings as an adult but very muted, I have never see an all brown one.

    Can anyone ID this bird, when flying it had the flight of a woodpecker and about the same size. There are Green woodpeckers in the area.

    I have just been outside and had a bat fly low over our heads, is it unusual to see one this time of year, it was only a small one. The time now is 21:48 in Telford, UK.

    Woodpecker in Blue Tit nest box

    I have been watching a woodpecker making the hole bigger on a blue tit nest box and going inside, is it deep enough for them to nest in, if not then I will be making the hole smaller with a metal opening so the blue tits can have there nest box back.

    Large holes in the Lawn, Badger?

    When I got up this morning the lawn looked like a bulldozer had gone over it, could it be badger we do have them coming past the patio door during summer evenings but they have never done this before. We also get Foxes but I don't think they would do that.

    Has anyone had this happen in CS4, I can be editing an image and everything is fine then all of a sudden the image goes dark and I can't get it back. If I save it without doing anymore and close CS and open in bridge its fine, re-open it in CS again and its fine for a few minutes then it goes...

    Found this on one of my marigolds this lunchtime, I have looked to see if I could identify it on the net but had no luck. The size of the body and seeing it in daylight makes me think of some sort of hawkmoth am I right.

    Is this a stoat or weasel. I just picked up my camera and was walking back into the room when I spotted out of the corner of my eye what I thought was squirrel running across the lawn then realised the colour was wrong I just managed a couple of bad shots before the window frame decided to butt in.

    Lots of emails to myself on new install.

    Last week I did a complete format and new install of xp now I am getting lots of emails to myself, any one any ideas why this is happening and how I can stop it. Before I set up my internet connection and email programs I installed AVG and zone alarm.
