    I just ordered the Kowa DA10 with nescessary adapters. Plan to use it with a V2, 18,5 prime and my 883. Will it be doable without extra support for the camera? Edit: I have the new 25-60W eyepiece.

    Manfrotto 190 XB and 128RC video head. Started out with the old version of this and a Kowa TSN-1 and used the tripod for over 20 years before upgrading to carbon fiber.

    Found a P330 on sale and picked it up. Got it yesterday and fiddled about a bit with my Kowa 883 w. 25-60 eyepiece. Acceptable results even without an adapter so pleased so far. Now I have to figure out a way to construct a suitable adapter.

    I had the same idea but after trying it on a loaner I went with Gitzo's G2380 instead. This works very good for me. But I use the scope more than the camera.

    Nikon 300mm f2.8 VR ll

    I had a 300/4 and upgraded to the 300/2.8. The difference is worth it to me, especially for low light situations. I often use it with the 2.0 III TC with good results. It can be handheld for close shots but when I can I use a tripod. I use it on a D300s and a D700.

    For me it's both the balance and the extra speed. I always use it with my 300/2.8. I went with the eight regular rechargables, much cheaper solution and no drawbacks as far as I know.

    I used something very simple, a piece of thin plastic (from a bag), threaded on to the screw to act ac a "wacher". Just came back from four days in the field and it stayed put all the time.

    Manfrotto 055CX3 or 055CXPRO3 or ?

    I have the older model 055MFV. The 055CX3 is an updated version and should be a very good tripod. I use it for my old TSN-1 now, but have also used it with my TSN-883 without problems.
