Ultravid 10x25 question for people who have them

Ultravid & ED Glass; Help me understand.
Can someone tell me if Leica uses ED glass in the Ultravid line of binoculars? Is Leicas' HighLux their proprietary ED glass or has Leica not employed ED glass yet? Thanks, Buz -

DCF ED vs. Alpha's?
Has anyone actually compared the DCF ED's (specifically the 10x43) to any of the the top alpha brands? They are selling for $999 right now and I'm thinking they are "nearly" as good at alpha's twice their price? Anybody have any insight? Buz -

Question about Ultravid 10 x 25
I just got a beautiful pair of Ultravid 10x25's and would like to confirm that they are operating properly. Anything beyond 100 yards has my focus knob practically at its limit. I'm used to a larger set of Pentax DCF 10x42's which allow me to go past infinity and then dial back to get just the...
