    A juv/1w Iceland Gull was present for about 10 minutes mid-afternoon and may well have been present for some time before I arrived. After circling the pool a couple of times it flew off in an easterly direction. Des.

    Queensland from mid-Oct through November

    I am hoping to go birding in Queensland with three others later this year. We cannot agree on the best two weeks from mid-October onwards, or does it really matter. We are not going to the far north of Queensland. Any advice would be appreciated.
