    I suspect it's a Kestrel but it looks rather bulky. I'm more used to seeing them from below when perched on telegraph wires.

    Seen at lackford suffolk 16.01.2012. I think it is a juvenile/1st winter little gull but am concerned about bill colour. Moorhen included for size comparison.

    27/02/11 1pm red kite seen over lackford suffolk. also reported by others. The nearest introduced colony is in northants. Are these birds wide ranging? was it migrating? Why was it here?
