    Brewer’s Blackbird, Delaware, today?

Hi all, A friend of mine digiscoped this Blackbird at long distance, associating with Red-winged Blackbird. His (and my) impression is of a Brewer’s Blackbird rather than the more expected Rusty Blackbird or Common Grackle. What do you all think? Thanks!

“Countability” of Bar-headed Geese in the Netherlands

Hi all, Not sure which forum this question fits in, but do European authorities consider Bar-headed Geese “countable” for the Netherlands (i.e. a stable, breeding population) or are they treated as escaped exotics? Trying to decide whether to include the one I saw today in my life list. Thanks!

    Strange songbird in Maryland

Someone from a Facebook group I'm a part posted this photo from the Maryland-Pennsylvania border. I guess it's a juvenile of some kind but I'm quite puzzled. Note the white is a seed in its mouth, not the bill. Any idea?

    Raptor in Los Angeles

Spotted today in Peck Park. Noticeably smaller than the two Cooper's Hawks also hanging around the park, so I'm leaning towards Sharp-shinned. Thoughts? https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BycqOtDKnmSuQjBmTTYzUVZoTUk Thanks!
