    i went on a hoopoe mission also about 10 am for an hour no sign though nice walk around and went along the canal a great couple of grey wags, male singing in a tree...got me all excited at first don't often look up to see a grey wagtail.

    got the wood warbler .but no sign of any little gulls around 6 o clock ..dont tell me they were round sheepwash ,had about an hour to look (always under pressure from the fun extractor).....ps has anyone seen a grey partridge?? sounds like an easy bird but ive not got one this year?
