    Gulls Sea of Japan May

I agree on 3rd cycle Slaty-backed . Look at the strong bill and brown smudgy marks on the underwing.

    Gull ID, putative Bonaparte's? - Italy, 2018/02/08

Ciao Luca. Purtroppo la documentazione non è sufficiente per confermare una prima italiana. Da queste foto non c'è nulla che possa ecludere con certezza un comune. Le proporzioni sembrano anche le stesse degli altri comuni di fianco. Saluti, Alex Boldrini

    Gull Help, China

First bird (pic 1-2) I would call a 1st winter Taymirensis. Second bird (pic 3) it's for sure a 4cy bird and for me it's a Taimyr as well or a Vega ( too much head striation for a mongolian?). Third and fourth birds are again tsimyrensis, both 3cy. Last bird a 4cy Taimyr , probably with a...

    Gull Redesmere Chehire

Herring Gull yes, but I would consider a hybrid with a lbbg due to the dark upperparts and much black on primaries

    Gull, Jersey

European HG could have that kind of hood as well. We should see its primary pattern to try an ID for a smith

    Gull? California

I think it's too pale for a Western. Better for an Olympic Gull (hybrid Western x Glaucous Winged)
