    Astro Eyepieces With Zeiss 85

    Has anyone out there used regular 1.25 astro eyepieces with a 85 Diascope? I was wondering how far they were able to push the magnification,and if they were able to use wide view ep (panoptics and naglers). thanks! Chas

    Zeiss 85 Awful Lens Cover

    I do not like the objective lens cover on my Z 85, why did they not make it like the eyepiece cover? Has anyone out there found a better alternative.

    Zeiss Diascope (stiff) Focus

    I recieved my new z 85 spotting scope today the focus knobs seem realy stiff to me is this normal? But the view is very nice! Please help me with this matter. thanks Chas

    astro eyepiece in zeiss diascope!

    Has any one of you tried a regular 1.25 astro eyepiece in a Zeiss 85 spotting scope? I know Zeiss makes a astro adapter for that.I was wondering how a 24mm panoptic would work,thanks and happy holidays Chas
