Bird ID, seen in Northern Alberta today

This bird was seen in a field today. First glance, Snow Bunting. But the markings seem different. Wing bars, different markings on the chest. We are now thinking White Wagtail. Thoughts?

    Birding Injury

Hey all I am from Canada's far north, and haven't done much birding at all this winter. It's been a really cold one; 6 species on my Christmas Bird Count. Anyways, I just spent a week down in Texas doing some excellent birding. Up at 5:30 every morning, not getting home until around 8:30. A...

Hi all I read this article on cbc.ca (the Canadian public news) http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/story/2012/11/23/north-kugluktuk-duck.html There is a duck that is clearly a little confused up there, but I can't necessarily ID it. Any help?

    Owl Northern Alberta

Hi! Today in High Level Alberta, I stepped out of my car at approximately 11am, and noticed 7 or 8 ravens harassing a bird directly above me. I then noticed the bird had a different shape then a hawk, and immediately grabbed my binoculars from the car. High Level is less than 200km south of...
