    Hard to say, but the species in the top have to be: house sparrow, northern cardinal, mourning dove ;)

    Strange robin behaviour

    Given that you witnessed a display (of sorts) followed by a chase, my vote is for courtship behavior. The male may have been trying to attract the female's attention, and when she lost interest he pursued her.

    Kingfishers you have seen

    It's hard to see many kingfishers when you aren't birding around the world! ;) I have only seen one, good ol' Belted Kingfisher (Ceryle alcyon).
