    In December off the coast of Northern Territory Australia I observed a large number of Streaked Shearwaters among a lot of fish which often leap high out of the water as in the photos.     Gull off Malaga late May

    This very worn gull was pictured off Malaga - very pale with a light coloured bill. Reminiscent of 1st winter michahellis but what's with the pale bill?

    Shearwater off Mexican Pacific coast

    This bird has very worn feathers, almost grey in parts, and initially suggested Buller's but on closer inspection it seems to be Pink-footed. Any thoughts welcome please.

    Chile - Sierra Finch?

    Photographed near Punta Arenas Chile in February. There were obvious Grey-hooded Sierra Finches nearby but this bird had a pinky colour on the breast which made it look very different. Any ideas? Thanks, Eric

    Chilean Patagonia - Miner?

    Photographed in Chile around 10 miles inland from Punta Arenas, this bird had a long thin bill which might indicate a possible Miner but there was no streaking on underbody. Poor photo I am afraid - snatched quickly against the light. Any help appreciated. Eric

    Pelagic heaven

    March 8th 2012, off the coast of Peru, a huge flock of storm petrels - there were hundreds of birds mainly Wedge Rumped with some Elliot's and a few Markham's. It was impossible to get all in the frame. It was a truly wonderful sight even in this prolific area.

    LBB Gull graelsii? Stavanger Norway

    Taken 27/06/11 in Stavanger Norway. I believe this is LBB graelsii, very light but also a fair amount of red bleeding into upper mandible. Again, any help appreciated.

    Pale Gull Norway

    These bird photographs were taken in Stavanger Norway 27/6/11. Very pale birds with very worn feathers but structurally look like Herring Gull to me. Any gull expert help would be great in determining type and age. Thanks.

    Grassquit?

    This was seen on Aruba, Netherland Antilles, in October 2010. I think it is possibly a Black Faced Grassquit. Does anyone know for sure please? Also is it male or female?

    Unknown bird - Eleuthera

    Can anyone help me ID this bird please? Taken in Bahamas in October 2010 in scrubland near coast. I have scoured the Collins Field Guide for the West Indies but am still unsure.
