    Sparrow in Central Texas

    This small sparrow in Central Texas USA, was flushed from the low grass and flew to a thicket above the water's edge of a lake. It made no noise and in the area are up to 10 sparrow species. Thanks in advance.

    Flycatcher and Plover on Isla Contoy, Yucatan Mexico

    I realize this may be impossible given the similarity of so many flycatchers, but there was no singing so I am stumped. As for the plover I am still learning the patterns. These were shot on 3/27/2013 on Isla Contoy, off the Yucatan Peninsula in southern Mexico. Thanks in advance!
