    Thanks, I think Addo is also the best place I know of to get the best views of Yellow Mongoose in South Africa, everywhere else you get only a fleeting glimpse before they dive into the bush. Here they seem habituated to vehicles, a great place to sketch and photograph them.

    I thought this might be quite unusual. They probably have evolved specialised hunting techniques to catch Flamingos at Langebaan, seeing there are so many there. I painted it on my ipad from a camera trap photo taken at 3am. read more
