    Oly 300mm F4 - My First Pics

    I would consider a slower shutter speed as active birds do sit still for very short periods. This would allow for a lower ISO. This Canada Warbler was taken handheld at ISO200 1/40s on a GH3 with the 300mm f4. If I shot it at 1/500s like your Meadowlark I would have been at ISO2500.
