Sorry, I really do not have clue.

Sorry, I really do not have a clue. I tried at a Google+ birding community, but could not get any tips. I have always had good luck here. Here are the photos (this forum cannot handle high res photos so I have to do it in this way)...

    Where have black-capped chickadees gone?

From the last fall till late April this year, there were multiple flocks of black-capped chickadees enjoying a feeder in Eastern Mass every day. They essentially disappeared in May. I have just started to see a few of them at the feeder, but not nearly as many as before. They are not...

    Wren?

Here is the video. Since both the video and the pictures are B/W, I am not confident in identifying it definitively. I have not seen the bird other than via the camera because the birdhouse is at a remote location. Thanks in advance. Hong

    Birdhouse for Black-capped Chickadee

I am wondering if any experts could take a look at the birdhouse, and let me know if its location, hole size (1 1/4"), design is appealing to Black-capped Chickadees. I have seen many Black-capped Chickadees checking it out by sticking their heads into the hole, but they have never entered. I...

    Do swans in Massachusetts migrate?

There is a swan couple in our local (Ipswich) pond. I thought they are usually gone in the winter. I am not sure where they go, or they just stay and hide somewhere locally. Hong

    Which sandpiper is this?

I am fairly sure this is a sandpiper. There are so many different species of sandpipers (e.g. Barid's Sandpiper, Curlew Sandpiper, etc.), so I am wondering which one this is. The video was taken on Crane Beach, Eastern Massachusetts. Hong

    Nuthatch?

I am reasonably sure on these birds, but want to get the confirmation from experts. Hong

    Prairie Falcon?

This is my wild guess. My understanding is that a prairie falcon is not supposed to be in a yard in eastern Massachusetts near a river and an ocean.

    Guineafowl, Downy Woodpecker, American Goldfinch?

    Black-capped Chickadee and Tufted Titmouse?

I assume these are Black-capped Chickadees. It would be embarrassing if I have misidentified our state bird, but I can handle it. I guess these are Tufted Titmice. I hope I have not mixed up in these two sets of photos. Hong

    Yellow warbler?

Here are a few photos. I am prepared for another wrong guess of mine.

    House finch?

Here is a set of photos. He is small but quite aggressive. This video shows how he drives away larger birds that want to share the feeder with him.

How late can nesting be in New England?

Hi all, I am wondering how likely it is to see a birdhouse used by any birds for nesting in August here in Eastern Massachusetts. Hong

Hi all! I joined this forum three days ago, so sorry for the delayed greeting. I am having the summer fun of watching a house wren nesting in a birdhouse equipped with a wireless camera. The eggs are about to hatch at any moment. Hong

    Eastern Phoebe in New England?

You can see live stream and a few photos here. We figure it is an eastern phoebe but not quite sure. It has 5 white eggs about to hatch. We will try to take more close-up photos. Thanks in advance for any tip.
