Thanks Guys the editing software I use is basic Picasa with no option to remove audio ,and looking at the options for windows 10 there does not seem to be anything at least in the basic range , all I want in an editor is cut out the shaky bits and mute the sound , , I'll try to cover the mic...- Brian Bullough

I have also bought SX50 batteries from 7day and they are fine, I numbered them so I could rotate them, inserting them first and keeping the original Canon till last so I know I have a decent battery if need be. They are small so I carry three, and would take five abroad ,just in case I can't...- Brian Bullough
