Tim, I got mine from Digitalrev for £289 with free shipping a few weeks ago. I think they are sourced from Hong Kong but they guarantee you won't have to pay any VAT/import duty. Camera came quickly and decent warranty arrangements too. Other BF users have used Digitalrev and found them to be...

Fantastic shots Brian :t: When real-life users are getting results like Brian's (and others on BF), I don't think we should take too much notice of reviews such as that published by dpreview !! Just need some decent weather and decent light here in blighty so I can have a good go with my new...

SX50 or SX40 There seems to be some suggestions in this thread that IQ for bird photography (ie at the high focal length end of the zoom range) with the SX50 may be no better than with the SX40. Indeed some suggestion that the SX40 may be slightly sharper. As someone who doesn't yet have an...

    Canon SX50 Specs

Hi guys. Really impressed with the results from the SX50, especially Ian's photos. Can anyone who bought their SX50 from Digitalrev in HK confirm whether there is any issue with having to pay VAT and import duty upon receipt of the package? Thanks.
