But the BOURC was instructed by JNCC not to add Muscovy Duck. I know that seems odd when BOURC claims to be an independent scientific body, but for some reason they consulted JNCC (which is not an independent scientific body) before adding it when it was clear that it met the criteria for Cat C...- Farnboro John

Muscovy Duck is not acceptable - sorry! Looks like 199 for a while longer. Reckon you should put some effort in for a Lesser Redpoll, they breed in the Peak District. BTW Bearded Reedlings exist only in a few books - common usage is still Bearded Tit and is likely to continue to be so: as for...- Farnboro John
