    Eurasian Kestrel, tinnunculus or not? East of China

    Lesser Kestrel is also a possible option in East Asia (it breeds in parts of northern China and Mongolia), but is much rarer in the region. I'm not an expert at separating these two species, but I think the OP bird fits Eurasian Kestrel better.
