    I should have clarified that my hesitation is that I thought it could be a Winter Wren which is very much expected at this time.

    Hi, I got a quick glimpse of this wren today in Fairfax County, Virginia. My initial thought was a House Wren, which is kind of late at this location; but now I have some doubts ... I appreciate your input and confirmation. Thanks, Howard
