    Whilst not new for the year, a very low, feeding flock of Bee-eaters gave great views this afternoon, almost from the kitchen window.

    A big movement of Bee-eaters over the house tyesterday, too high to see wich species though they sounded like European but not sure Blue-cheeked is distinguishable on voice, by me anyway!

    After my first post today, a later walk near the beach, got me my first ever Ruppell's Warbler. They are noticebly Long-tailed and when I first saw it move in the shadow of the bush, it really had me confused until it hopped out in to the open.

    Added Collared Flycatcher and Wryneck to my Cyprus list today.

    Added G-s Cuckoo to the garden list yesterday, really raucosus call, somewhat reminiscent of a Parrot sp.

    In very cold and windy conditions, Paphos archaeological site today gave up Crested Larks, Hoopoes, Blue Rock Thrush, Common Quail and Northern and Izzy Wheatears, the latter being another lifer for me. There was a Black-eared Wheatear and Ortolan reported on site but we didn't connect, it...

    Another good movement of Swifts species over the house yesterday, Alpine and Common for sure but many all dark Swifts were just too high to ID.

    I've seen all the Hirundines here now with the exception of Red-rumped Swallow, Barn Swallows and House Martins are all over the place. No Common Swifts yet for me.

    In Cyprus today, a significant influx of Alpine Swifts over my garden in Pissouri Bay.
