    Any sub-alpha 30-32mm class binoculars that still feel like an alpha ones?

    You could try a used Zeiss 8x32 FL they are running $1,000 - $1,200 these days. If you can stretch your budget a bit more the Zeiss 8x30 SFL are supposedly due out in March.
