    Lichtenknecker of Belgium made 4 element objectives for refractors with perhaps 4 colour correction. Ross made triplet refractors perhaps 1920. George Alcock used a Ross 100mm f/12 triplet. I had a Ross 100mm f/15 triplet. Petzvals have 4 elements. Dating maybe mid 1800s? There were 4...

    The large binocular has a forehead rest. There was an Italian Galileo brand 90mm binocular with triple turret eyepieces at auction, but my friend didn't buy this and bought the broken tripod instead. Regards, B.
