    Nice dune shot. I found the shapes in the sand there extraordinary, especially in early morning light. The curves and dimples had almost an erotic look to them. I know that sounds weird but I don't know how else to describe it. John

    We got White-tailed Gnu actually from the hotel in Dullstroom along with, to my total disbelief, a feral Fallow Deer (good Africa tick!) Blesbok and Grey Rhebok were pretty common out in the boondocks. John

    Hi Stuart, You've gotta go to Kruger. Its something else. We did the Naturetrek mammals trip and had 23 Lions, 4 Leopards, 2 Cheetahs, 5 Wild Dogs, both Genets, 3 Civets, various mongooses and loads of ungulates in only a few days. The birds were zonking as well with Finfoot perhaps the bird...
