    tenex, you are right. On the Meopta 8x32 I did have to pay extra attention to the Diopter setting which made a difference. It lacks a little bit of contrast compared to the UVHD+. That probably makes for the perceived (not necessarily true) difference in apparent sharpness at far. That aside...
