    Nice job on the eagle, Amy! Our city's football team is called the Seahawks, after this bird. (That's American football - the game generally played without the feet. Some of us over on this side of the pond do love real football, although that's one of the reasons I have two really bad knees...

    I echo what Tim said. I've played music seriously for many years, and the most phenomenal musicians I've ever met developed a serious interest in music at an early age and really focused on it. As with languages, I think that learning music at a young age progresses faster and greatly expands...

    Nice and prolific group of field sketches! The young woodpecker is well done also - I had the chance two years ago to find an active nest just before the birds fledged. Quite a busy and noisy scene which you've captured here.

    You're doing great with the watercolor - just keep at it! I'm jealous of your Goldfinch. Our American Goldfinch is pretty, but not as colorful as your species.
