    Lenses!!

    Call me biased but I use a 20D and 100-400mm IS lens for all my birding photography - I know it's a bit of a compromise against say a 500mm fixed focal lens but the 100-400 is flexible enough to meet most of the "in the field" situations, not too heavy or bulky and I find the IS is excellent...
