What a beautiful bird! Nice shot, Ian. I am glad you posted him. I really like the raptors. They are so easily spooked, though. Nice capture.

Just noticed this photo. I think it is a Ring Necked Duck. I went overboard on editing it, because I was just trying to see what I could do with different photos. But, I did not keep anything but this heavily edited pic. I realized that it was not a Lesser Scaup, and it is the only photo I...

Here are a few photos from Eagle Marsh and the last few days. Lesser Scaup and Bufflehead drakes, Great Egret, Whitetail doe (acting very immature for the camera), Killdeer, and a Great Blue Heron.

To continue with this thread, here are a few pics from this weekend. Supposedly there is a Horned Grebe, and a Sora, that have been sighted at the marsh. I have not seen them, yet.

That is great! LOL. Daisy looks like a corker. I appreciate the history too. What a beautiful place. Everything looks already green there. You are ahead of me, when it comes to the posting the pics. I don't know how to actually have them in the post. Mine are all thumbnails, until you...

A buddy of mine messaged me to let me know that Pelicans were out at Eagle Marsh. They were at the pond almost directly across from the Golf Dome. Thankfully, we were able to find them. They soared around for awhile, and we thought they were leaving. However, they returned to the pond, and...

Yes, Ian, and we have YOU to thank. 3:-) It was a good suggestion. However, a bit of a slow start, it appears. Here are a few pics from my visit there on Wednesday. The deer was actually on Thursday, though. Wednesday was foggy until noon. The little Pied Billed Grebe played hide and...

Here are a few from March 23, 2020. I missed timing my visit to when the sun was out, but still grabbed a few shots. Not in order; Bufflehead, Pied Billed Grebe, Greenwing Teal, Blue Wing Teal, and Shoveler.

A member/friend on BF suggested starting a thread for Eagle Marsh. Here it is. I only have a few photos, but will start it with what few I currently have. Digiscoping, so not the quality others might offer. Please, post your stuff. Thanks!:t:
