Brock, Yup, I almost went back to edit that one. It's not really a Y/N phenomenon but I simplified things. Lower magnification does have an effect, but since I'm mostly hooked on 8x it occurs to me that there's something else going on when one 8x roof seems to have more "3D" than another. That may have something to do with it, Frank. But John notes the same sensation in the Terra, which doesn't have a field flattener. It also seems to be some elusive quality involving color and contrast, which makes objects "pop" more. That "pop" may have something to do with the 3D view. I...- Kammerdiner
