    Yep, it is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet! Thank you! I had to search and search for a photo that depicts what I see, although this isn't exact. I havent seen the plume stand up on the birds at my feeders. Phew! So glad I found this page.

    I did look at that one and unfortunately it doesnt match. The red/fusia color is always present and its nearly a neon type of color. Its stunning.

    The red spot is almost like a shadowbox look. the red part is encased by the green. Realllly hard to explain

    I just cannot identify this one! It is a very small green bird, (almost all green) with a shock of bright red/fusia on top of the head. I am in Northern Arizona, February.
