    Glad you enjoyed the read. The 24x eyepiece is this one, Opticron 40858 HDF. As I said, I have not had chance to try one out yet, but it sounds ideal. I just need to see what the field of view looks like at 24x. The 18x as I have already stated gives a very bright sharp image.

    The image through the 18x eyepiece is excellent. There is also a HDF 24x fixed eyepiece. I have not tried the 24x myself yet, but intend doing so soon. Obviously with increased magnification you get less field of view. Again, this scope continues to impress me. Some other impressed birders...

    More iscoping Went out early this morning to miss the hottest part of the day. Took the GS52 ED along. Used iPhone through eyepiece to capture this Garden Warbler.

    I didn't know where to put this thread? So i have put a link in Videoscoping also. I was very impressed with the performance of this little scope today in very poor conditions. Took both stills and video using an iphone 4S hand held to the eyepiece. I am amazed at what this little scope can...
