    David, I think it could possibly be a case of either loving it or hating it. I wouldnt say I "hated" it, but I certainly disliked it enough to send it back. However, I am now tempted to go to my local shop and try another sample.

    David, It is perfectly possible that there is sample variation. To me the contrast was poor and CA quite high. I didn't do any resolution testing - I just went with what my eyes saw. Sharpness was fine for the price point but I admit this is now technical and completely subjective.
