In general I think it's a good thing for binoculars to transmit colour as faithful to reality as possible. However, in my experience some bias (as all binoculars have) is not necessarily detrimental to the view. Provided that other important aspects are excellent. Indiana, I think I know what you mean. However, my advice would be to hold on to your Kowa XD's a little longer and see what exactly is bothering you.
