    My 40D shutter has worked flawlessly since having it replaced (some 9k shots ago). I also had the shutter button replaced at the same time and that was better after the fix than it ever was from new.

    Sorry to hear that Adam. When my 40D shutter went I was quoted about £180 but as it happened Canon picked up the tab even thought it was out of warranty. I know fixation will give you a quote after looking at the camera and it is then up to you if you go ahead. Is it taking single shots OK? When...
