    I tried today my brother`s Canon 1000D with Canon 100-400mm L and Kenko 1.4 300 Pro: autofocus with center point was really superb !!     Hello all, I read on an Dpreview forum that the 40D with Kenko 1.4 Pro and Canon 100-400L locks well with the left most three or right most three points, but badly with the centerpoint, toppoint or bottompoint.
