    Any sub-alpha 30-32mm class binoculars that still feel like an alpha ones?

    You should also look at a second hand Swarovski 8x30 SLC Mark III or IV or a 7x30 Mark III if available, the are built like a tank and they provide sharp views that are razor sharp almost to the edge. Some newer binoculars offer a bigger FOV but the focused sweet spot is only 60% of the total area.
