    Troubador, Via the used market I now admit to being Swaro owner. The gap between the fully in rim and the ocular is c. 5mm. Surely this is more than is needed other than in exceptional cases?

    For spectacle wearers, if the eye relief is measured from the rim to the eye, I do not see that the diameter of the rim matters, what does matter is the distance from the rim to the ocular. My latest bins have the same eyepiece and the distance is, as best I can measure, 5mm. I would not mind...
