    I do not if You already been there. Helpful link http://www.birdinggermany.de/bavarianwoodpeckers.htm Grey faced Woodpecker we have in Pupplinger Au at river Isar about 20 km south of Munich. Mosty You will rather hear the woodpecker, than see them.
