    I can practically only be able to use a TN the first hour after sunlight picks up. After that atmospheric distortion kicks in. Before the sunlight picks up, the scope would be too dark for my eyes with the TN. But if I am shooting from under thick tree canopies, I can shoot longer with the TN...
