    Brown eagle ID in Tarangire NP, Tanzania

    This was seen in this January. thought it was an aquila eagle (Tawny/steppe) at first, but it seems a bit smaller with a smaller beak. Is it a wahlberg's eagle instead? also read somewhere that you could identify wahlberg's vs. tawny by the shape of the nostrils. It doesn't really have the crest...
